Rhonda Duffy is responsible for leading Biocon Biologics’ global operations functions, manufacturing, MSAT, quality, supply chain management and projects.
Rhonda joined Biocon Biologics in July 2023, bringing with her over 30 years of experience in establishing new functions, bringing new skills and competencies into the organizations she has worked in, and sorting out challenging areas where stabilization and improved output in quality, supply and performance are required. She has been successful in raising quality standards, adding technology upgrades, stabilizing, and improving performance and output in all sites, while building new supply chains with external contract manufacturers. She has worked closely with R&D to develop and launch new products. Rhonda has also managed large, diverse global teams across multiple sites and product lines.
Prior to joining Biocon Biologics, Rhonda worked with Leo Pharma (a Denmark-based global dermatology leader), for over 30 years. Most recently, as Executive Vice President for Global Product Supply at Leo Pharma, she led end-to-end product supply operations spanning 6 sites and 30 contract manufacturers, the launch of two biologics and the entire Global Product Supply for their product portfolio worth EUR1.3 billion in sales. Rhonda also spearheaded an ambitious and effective cost optimization program, oversaw a significant upgrade to several global manufacturing sites and built a new U.S.-based external supply network.
Rhonda is a qualified pharmacist with a PhD in Pharmacognosy from Trinity College, Dublin, UK.
